Abstract

|
This paper will address five significant hurdles to overcome when employing Internet technology into classroom instruction. First, a faculty member will need basic minimal technical skills. Second, the faculty member will need to learn to manage the massive amounts of information found on the Internet. Third, identify potential Web sites and evaluate them for instructional merits. Fourth, place this technological component in the teaching sequence. Fifth, find effective strategies that will facilitate the incorporation of technology in classes.
